Welcome to Love Izzy Jewellery’s first blog post! This post is dedicated to tips and advice when styling your earrings. If you have multiple piercings or are interested in styling jewellery, then this post is for you!

Of course everyone has their own style and can layer their pieces how every they like, but if you were wanting to get some more inspiration, let’s get into it!
HOW TO CREATE THE PERFECT EARRING STACK

START WITH YOUR BOLDEST PIECE:
I always recommend when stacking your earrings, to start off with your boldest or largest piece you want to work with (for your first piercing). This usually is a hoop or huggie but could even a bold/sparkly stud or dangly earring. The idea is to start off with the main focus of your ear party and then build on from that.

PLAY WITH DIFFERENT SIZES:
To add balance and texture, it is important to play with different styles and types of earrings that complement one another. When layering, try adding daintier pieces like studs or drop earrings to balance out your stack so it doesn’t look messy or clustered.

FOLLOW A THEME:
The best stacks that look put together tend to stick to a theme. For example, if you layered a dainty gold stud that had a purple gemstone with a silver spike huggie, it may not pair very nicely. Some theme ideas could be sticking to one or two types of gemstones that complement one another. For example, cubic zirconia’s with opals or an all gold theme. This is where you can get creative and experiment which pieces complement one another.

PAY ATTENTION TO THE REST OF YOUR LOOK:
The last thing I wanted to add when choosing your perfect ear stack, is to keep in mind the rest of outfit and what other jewellery you are wearing. For example, if you are going to create a bold ear stack then maybe wear a daintier necklace that complements it or if you want the main focus to be your outfit, then opt for some simpler jewellery. But of course this varies depending on the look you are going for.

There you have it! I hope these tips help you get inspired when either choosing your next piece of jewellery or layering your earrings. If you need any further advice or help, feel free to send me a message and I would be happy to help you out.
