ABOUT LOVE IZZY JEWELLERY

Love Izzy pieces are handmade and are  designed for your everyday wear. Each order is made and packaged with love and then shipped off to you to enjoy.

My name is Izzy, I am 19 years old and the founder of Love Izzy Jewellery. I started Love Izzy Jewellery at the age of 14. The reason and meaning behind the name came to me when I was brainstorming how I would package my jewellery. I knew I wanted to include a personally written thank you card in each order where I would write 'Love Izzy' at the end of each message. So I thought why not just name my business Love Izzy Jewellery?!

The reason I created this small business in the first place is because I have a condition called P.O.T.S (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, which limits me from being able to do physically and mentally draining activities. Some of my main symptoms consist of: bad headaches, fatigue, brain fog, feeling dizzy when standing, heart issues and more. In July 2019, I had to stop attending school because of my health. While I was home, I wanted a hobby. I have always loved art and being creative and knew I wanted to start something so I could earn money whilst doing something I enjoy. I had always loved jewellery but never could find any designs I liked that I didn't have to splurge my money on. I started to brainstorm designs and ideas that I would like to put together. By September I was admitted into hospital because I was not getting any better with my health. During the 8 days I was there, I continued to finalise designs until I was sure with what pieces I wanted to create. By late October I started promoting Love Izzy Jewellery on instagram and by November 7th 2019 I launched my business. I am optimistic and grateful that my condition has lead me to running my own business. I've gotten good at managing my illness and am determined to keep trying to get better. I'm excited to see what the future holds for Love Izzy Jewellery!
